Nothing small about Tiny

Tiny’s Legacy has always promised to develop into smart horse and he showed with an impressive victory over 1600m at Sandown Park on Saturday that he can win more races.

A tall, scopey son of Lonhro, bred and raced by Ross Wilkinson and Sandra Lawrence, Tiny’s Legacy has taken time to mature, both physically and mentally and while is still not the finished article he certainly has plenty of ability.
He can be inclined to overrace which he did in patches again on Saturday but Damien Oliver was patient and waited until he was balanced in the home straight before asking for an effort.

Tiny’s Legacy responded well and ran on strongly to score, this third win this preparation and his first in the city.
It was wonderful to win a valuable VOBIS race like this for Ross and Sandra. They have been amazing supporters of mine since I started out and to win for them on Saturday gave me enormous pleasure.

Let us hope it is the first of many for Tiny’s Legacy.
