The forgotten Suavito reminded everyone she’s a force to be reckoned with, beating a field of champions in the C.F. Orr Stakes.

In a field of 13 Group 1-winners, Suavito was the one who stood tall, enjoying the run of the race to beat (the unlucky) Lucky Hussler and Hucklebuck.
Jumping from barrier one, Suavito ($15) settled just behind the speed as the $3.80 favourite Turn Me Loose rolled forward to set a genuine tempo.
As the field turned for home, Luke Currie found a split and Suavito took it, running over the top of the favourite and holding off the late challengers to land her second Group 1.
