A few weeks ago we proudly reported on the win of Distant Sky in his first outing for 2018. It was just his second win of his career but a very rewarding one.
Again at Sportsbet-Ballarat on Tuesday 27th March, Distant Sky stepped out in the Porter Plan BM64 1200m event and was arguably more impressive in winning his third race.
Craig Robertson settled Distant Sky in customary position midfield, with the knowledge from his previous run that a sprint would be produced when it mattered.
Distant Sky did not let us down, moving into the lead around 25om from the finish line. This time though, a challenger was in pursuit. Crypto Peer Rocks fought hard but Distant Sky tough harder, in what was a pleasing sight to see.
Congratulations again to all owners, some of whom were on track for the victory again.
