Pure Exceleration Steps It Up

It was great to see Pure Exceleration come over the top of his rivals today at Tatura, winning the Rushton Park Thoroughbreds 0 – 58 Handicap.

The 1980m seems a great distance for him and he is a horse really taking to racing over 10 furlongs.

It’s particularly pleasing to get the win with a very persistent and supportive group of owners. There’s a great team of loyal clients that have stuck by this horse proudly and we are confident there is more to come.

His last four runs have all been consistent, showing that a win is just around the corner. He has proven he can run the trip and keeps improving. Today we got the benefit of that.

We’ve mixed in some jumping with his regular track work and he has taken to it brilliantly. It sparks him up nicely and keeps him interested in his everyday work.

Neil Farley’s ride was a great, positive ride where he was able to build momentum into the race. He’s a horse that needs to build within a comfort zone, and with Neil doing so it paid dividends in the straight.

He is such a happy horse who thrives while in work. Given that, we’ll press on with his campaign and all being well he’s back in the winners enclosure again soon.
