The old saying when it rains it pours, truly applied on Saturday, when Flemington was engulfed by the storm of the century. Approaching the running of the Newmarket, the black clouds, provided an intimidating sight, but no-one expected what was to come.

The result of the ferocious storm, is that the running of the Australian Cup has been delayed, so we are forced to wait with Littorio. While this is an inconvenience, we are extremely happy with the way the horse has improved, and with the addition of blinkers we thing that he can run an extremely competitive race.
