Sheeza Tilly keeps the wins rolling

Horses don’t know their odds, and Sheeza Tilly certainly didn’t race like the $81 chance the market rated her at Echuca today.

It was pleasing to see her win, and win well.

It’s a great result for the McFarlanes, Mark and Michelle, who bred and race the filly.

She certainly appreciated the dry track at Echuca as well.

Physically she’s developed a lot since her first preparation and it’s always pleasing to see a horse take physical improvement to the races and show more ability.

It continued a winning run for the stable, with Protection Money winning the Woodend Cup at Kyneton on Saturday.

It was a real thrill for the team to get a trophy in the cabinet, and we’re sure Ross Wilkinson will find a nice spot on the mantelpiece for his new silverware.

He was first up over 1875m, so it’s taken some patience and a bit of work to get him there, and hopefully it puts him in good stead to win some more races this preparation.

Both horses were ridden by Neil Farley – it’s been great to get some good results together, and we’re all hoping the winning run continues.
