Suavito is the toughest horse I have ever had anything to do with. Ever. In winning the Orr Stakes, her second Group 1 victory, Suavito increased her earnings to more than $1.2m in prize money for a syndicate of loyal owners led by Ian Lewis.
Managing Owner of Suavito joined Adam Olszanski on RSN’s The Thoroughbred program, on Sunday morning.
Racing.com | Tom Biddington | 13 February 2016 The forgotten Suavito reminded everyone she’s a force to be reckoned with, beating a field of champions in the C.F. Orr Stakes. We were delighted to welcome Suavito back in the Flemington stable last week. Here is our owner’s update upon her return.
Suavito left our stable today, in good hands. She heads to the Ballarat Vet Clinic to remove a bone chip in her knee.
Group 1 winner Suavito will miss the upcoming Spring Racing Carnival through injury.
Blackiston based Suavito’s entire campaign on getting the mare into the field for the $3 million event but not even a win in the Group I Futurity Stakes at Caulfield secured her a Doncaster Mile start.
