She impressed both Nigel and the team at Booroolite Park during her education, proving herself to be one of the more forward and mature horses being broken in in April and May.
Harry Angel (IRE) was a champion sprinter whose electrifying speed and toughness on the track have made him one of the most exciting young stallions standing today. He has quickly making his presence felt in the stallion ranks, having already sired 20 Stakes-winners and entrenching himself in the top 10 Sires list in Australia (by prizemoney).
His best performers include the multiple G1-winner Tom Kitten (G1 The All-Star Mile, G1 Spring Champion Stakes), top three-year-old Private Harry (unbeaten in five stars, including the G1 The Galaxy), and War Machine (G1 Stradbroke Handicap).
This filly is the second foal of Verlan, a winning mare by So You Think (NZ) out of Most Secretive. Her family includes the Group 1 winner Covertly (G1 WATCH Railway Stakes) plus six other stakes-winners descending from third dam Most Secret (out of 80 runners). That’s an impressive 9% stakes-winners-to-runners in this family!
On type and based on the early signs shown in her education, Nigel and the breaking-in team at Boorolite Park believe this filly is capable of running in her two-year-old season and maturing into a miler and beyond as a three-year-old.
