I must be honest and admit it had been a mystery why Sail The Stars was still a maiden however he put that right with a good win at Bendigo on Saturday.
Sail The Stars has always shown good ability, indeed he is one of the best track workers we have but he had not managed to win a race until Saturday, much to the bemusement of several jockeys.
He was suited by the trip on Saturday and got a super ride from Dean Yendall, strong to the line and I amd looking for this to give him some confidence as he certainly has the ability.
