Inside Agent would have learned a great deal from Saturday’s race. The pace slowed noticeably between the 800m and 600m points, with the field stacking up before sprinting home. This didn’t suit Inside Agent who is still learning, growing in confidence and getting used to travelling between runners.
Nigel has two options for Inside Agent’s next start. Either the Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes on Derby Day at Flemington, or the Listed Hilton Stakes 1400m for three-year-olds on Stakes Day.
