Dreams And Schemes Backs It Up

It made for a great Sunday taking Dreams And Schemes to Kyneton and see him claim his second consecutive win.

The Dream Ahead gelding continues a nice run of form for our loyal supporter Ross Wilkinson who bred and races him.

Putting together consecutive wins is never easy, especially when going from a maiden to a BM64.

Today he jumped well and settled beautifully outside the leader.

Dean Yendall controlled the race throughout and held on to win the barest of margins.

Thankfully, the form guide shows a win regardless of the margin.

We thought after his first win 12 days ago that he was a horse that learned a lot in his first racing preparation and could improve significantly this time around.

We gave his first run at Ballarat a pass mark after his strong trials and since then he has been nothing but pleasing.

His next target will be in two weeks time where there are a few races to choose from, perhaps even returning to Kyneton on their cup day.

He could be a handy horse to have around for the spring for Ross and also the stable.

I would like to thank the members of my team led by Mark Dennehy. These results come from all their hard work and we are very appreciative.
