The week ended on a nice note as we took Namaska to Geelong where she broke her maiden.
A striking chestnut by Pariah, she has always shown more ability at the comfort of home than under race pressure, but now it looks like she’s turned a corner.
She has required patience to get where she is today – a bit of a headstrong attitude and a minor injury.
The great group of owners in her are now getting the rewards for that patience – we’re grateful when a mare like her is given the time to develop.
Hopefully she will be returning to the winners stall again up in grade.
