What? Cup Week is over already?
It’s hard to believe that the Caulfield, Moonee Valley and Flemington carnivals have come and gone. We enjoyed taking several runners to the feature racedays, and I was overall pleased with their performances.
Jockey Cam!
Well done channel 7 for again using Jockey Cam this Spring. Michael Walker on Inside Agent participated on Saturday at Caulfield.
A good aura about Electric Aura’s win at Moe
After eight placings in 14 starts, it has been clear that Electric Aura did not deserve her maiden tag. Yesterday at Moe, on their big Cup Day, this stylish daughter of Shocking won impressively over 1600m.
Another win for Basil
Ferro Nero, aka Basil, scored his fourth victory on Wednesday on Blue Sapphire Stakes Day at Caulfield.
Inside Agent no longer inside knowledge
Inside Agent stepped out at just his second race start to win the Listed Poseidon Stakes at Flemington on Sunday.
La Vida Loca (Savabeel / Shanstar filly) arrives from NZ
Very pleased to welcome the NZ-bred filly, La Vida Loca, to Flemington recently.
Groovin’ all the way
At Pakenham on Sunday, Groovin’ kicked strongly in the straight to score a comfortable victory in the three-year-old Maiden over 1600m.
A great debut, a fast finish and a Group placing
It was a good day at out at the Melbourne Racing Club, Caulfield, today.
