Suavito keeps winning

Suavito is racing in career best form and she made it four Group wins on the trot with victory in the Blamey Stakes (Gr 2) at Flemington on Saturday to keep the Suavi Army cheering and reward all the hard work done at home by the team.

She began a bit awkwardly on Saturday but quickly recovered and Damien Oliver assessed the situation very quickly when there was no pace and elected to let the mare roll forward and go to the lead.

She relaxed once she was there and I was not too concerned when the challenges lined up around the home turn as I know she has a turn of foot and is such a fighter.

The plan had always been to go to the Doncaster Handicap in Sydney but it looks unlikely she will get a start, quite a anomaly considering she is a Group I winner having won her past four starts at group level but that is the handicap.

She still has options, most likely the Sunline Stakes at Moonee Valley in two weeks time and then we can look at Sydney.
