Ballarat, here we come

Posted on Posted in News

For many years we have enjoyed success based at Flemington and the custom of the Victoria Racing Club (VRC). Australia’s premier race club have hosted us in various barns over these years.

In recent times we have been making subtle changes to our stable operations and assessing our facilities and team, with Assistant Trainer Kasey Loftus. As part of that continuous review, we have identified some key areas of improvement that we are keen to deliver for horses under our care and our clients.

The VRC have supported our review, as they have supported our business since our move here from Cranbourne in 1999. The Ballarat Turf Club (BTC), led by CEO Lachlan McKenzie, has also supported us and first proposed their training facility around a year ago.

These discussions have resulted in our decision to relocate our stable to Ballarat.

We will occupy a barn of similar size to our current Flemington stable.

Here is a video with a more detailed explanation of the benefits we believe this move will provide to horses and clients.

No doubt our clients will have questions, all of which can be answered in coming days. Of course we welcome any discussion about your horses and how this move may impact the ownership experience.

In summary, we are confident this move to Ballarat will benefit the delivery of our training services, the welfare of horses under our care, and results.

Nigel and Susanna
