There are no better examples of team effort than the strong win of Sneakers at Ladbrokes Park (Sandown) on Monday. Track riders, handlers, vets, clerks of the course and barrier attendants all contributed significantly to her victory, her second of her career so far.

Nigel and connections were considering two races for Cadabra on the weekend: one at Caulfield on Saturday and one at Cranbourne on Friday night. It was decided to target the Cranbourne race to give her the best chance of a win, and win she did.

At Geelong on Tuesday, we were excited to welcome GETEMHEL (NZ) back to the races following a beneficial spell. On the back of two good jump outs at Flemington, Brian Higgins placed Getemhel just off the leader’s hindquarters, in perfect position to be out of trouble and first across the line.
Nigel wasn’t going to settle for a maiden race on the provincial circuit for FASTBROOK. He and owners headed straight into metro company with some level of confidence that she would perform well. And that she did.
