Activity in the stable has really stepped up in recent weeks, with a lot of younger horses trialling and older horses back into work targeting some Autumn races. But none are more interesting that INSIDE AGENT.
On the first day of the Inglis Premier Sale in Melbourne, and very early in the sale, a filly by five-time Group 1 winner OCEAN PARK was offered as lot 12. When she became available for purchase at just $40,000 (no GST), Nigel simply had to have her.
Into our stable this week, we welcome the brother to the highly talented Group-winning filly, SHEES FLAWLESS.
After a week-long reconnaissance mission in November, and seven days at the New Zealand Bloodstock National Yearling sale last week, we are proud to be coming home with four really nice yearlings.
There was a lot of cheering in Geelong, Melbourne and New Zealand when the stable scored a race-to-race double with Big Pat’s Pontiac and Sorenata at Geelong on Sunday.
Due to personal travel, Nigel will be bypassing the Magic Millions Gold Coast sale this year and is first focusing on the New Zealand Bloodstock National Yearling Sales series in late January.
Since her maiden victory at Moe in October, Electric Aura put in three fair efforts. But ridden quieter at Sale, she stormed home for a comfortable second victory.
From 1st February 2017, the minimum prizemoney for all two-year-old, three-year-old and open handicaps at Saturday metropolitan meetings will increase to $100,000.
