Emerald Crown was brilliant in winning at Ballarat today in what should be another confidence boosting win. From here she can continue to head towards bigger and better races.
We were thrilled to continue a fruitful preparation with Pure Exceleration at our home track Ballarat today.
It made for a great Sunday taking Dreams And Schemes to Kyneton and see him put together back to back wins.

It was great to see some updates from John & Diane Clark with the birth of two foals recently out of mares trained by Blackiston Racing.
At the second start of his second preparation, Dreams And Schemes won nicely at Kyneton today.
Donning Ross Wilkinson’s black, white and red colours, he became another in a long line of winners in his family. All have been bred by Ross with his late wife Sandra, and trained by Blackiston Racing with great pleasure.
It was great to see Pure Exceleration come over the top of his rivals today at Tatura, winning the Rushton Park Thoroughbreds 0 – 58 Handicap.
She was given a difficult task pre-race, but it was great to see Emerald Crown claim her maiden win at Ballarat yesterday.
Protection Money proved he is a stayer on the rise with a pleasing and persistent win at Ladbrokes Park Sandown yesterday.

Four-year-old gelding Protection Money delivered a pleasing win at Cranbourne yesterday, doubling up as a nice birthday present for his owner/breeder Ross Wilkinson.
I’m quite proud of the hands on approach we take to training. It has served me well in the past and is going very well with the Ballarat facilities.
