With a bit of pace in the race, combined with the conditions and an in form rider (Alana Kelly), Diaquin won comfortably by coming off the pace rounding the home turn and easily getting through the soft ground in the straight.

The stable maintained our strong strike rate on the Sportsbet-Ballarat Synthetic surface with two more wins on Thursday 10 June. Both Kirakat and Under My Spell performed well in the wintery conditions to please their owners, and please a bruised and battered trainer.
One of the four yearlings purchased at the 2019 Inglis Gold sale was a lovely filly by US stallion The Factor, out of a three-quarter-sister to Derby winner Arena. Our filly, now named Northern Bliss, scored her first win at Warracknabeal in the state’s north-west.
